It just was not my kind of story. I would not read it the second time.
I liked how much detail was used to exclaim the place around him and the emotion that he felt in the dark pit.
Amazing book 2nd time reading, this never gets old. Love Mr Poe 's choice of words; great for anyone that would like a larger vocabulary. Poe never disappoints, excellent writing and it's hard to find that today.

It's suspenseful and scary, I followed along on kindle while listening to and audio which made it even better! I recommend
I love this story so much! It is so well written and thrilling. My only gripe is that I had to buy the audio separate from the text, so it did not match up 100%.
This is a standard. Typical Poe...dark and thought provoking. Not graphic, but definitely spurs your imagination. Overall a disturbing, short read.
